Family & Friends, Luke 1:30 30And the angel said unto
her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31And, behold, thou
shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his
name JESUS. 32He
shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give
unto him the throne of his father David: 33And he shall reign over the house of
Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
Here it
is December 2002! This year went by quickly. It is during the Christmas season that we
celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. It is our prayer that we all would celebrate
Jesus’ birthday everyday, not just at Christmas and give Him thanks for all the
blessing that He gives us each day. We give
you thanks Almighty God for your Son Jesus Christ, whom paid it all for us on Calvary. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS. We felt lead to highlight portions from the 2002 newsletters and give
you an overview in this December’s newsletter. It
was a busy year for us although we did not travel as much this year as in 2001, but God
had us going in a different direction for 2002. Enjoy
and give this newsletter to someone you know, that they may be blessed by the newsletter
and God’s Word. January’s
Newsletter: To start, we will be
attending a bible school this year in Franklin, NC called the School of Elijah, that will
be once a month for 12 months and will be taught by Pastor Tootsie Gudal and her ministry
staff. We are very excited about the bible
school and thank Pastor Tootsie Gudal and her ministry and staff for their obedience in
coming to Franklin, NC. Tootsie Gudal
Ministries International, Inc. is in W. Somerset, KY. January’s
message was on: “FEAR”: Fear will
cause things in our lives such as stress, worry, tension, doubt and unbelief which
if you let it become a part of your life, will in turn cause you to become upset,
angry, even hatred towards one another. These
things can cause severe sickness in our bodies.
I myself (Bill) went through many years of fear and it caused so much sickness and
pain in my body, as well as hurt to those that I loved.
God can and will take fear away from you if only you will call upon His name as you
pray, then believe and receive your healing. God’s word in 2 Timothy 1:7 says:
For
God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. February’s
Newsletter: At the end of January’s newsletter we stated
that we have some exciting news to share with all of our partners and friends in One With
Christ Ministries. For the last year and half
on almost every Wednesday night we have been meeting with Sam & Sharon Bradham from
Franklin, NC to have prayer meetings. Sam
and Sharon are very dear and special friends of ours and God has netted our hearts
together to be intercessors of prayer. We
have been praying about the lost and hurting people in Western North Carolina and have
been seeking God about His church being planted in Franklin, NC. On January 26, 2002 after our first Bible School,
Sam and Sharon announced that they felt God was saying to start a church, and that the
church service would start on February 10, 2002. The name of the Church is Word and Spirit
Ministries. February’s
message was on: “TEMPTATION”: This
month we feel that the Holy Spirit is saying to us to give a message on temptation and
give scriptures to help in temptation. It is
so easy to be tempted in today’s world. There
are so many things that can tempt us each day. In
Matthew chapter 4 verses 1 thru 11, Jesus was tempted by the tempter (Satan, devil). As you read the verses 1 thru 11 think about how
we are tempted by Satan to do things that are not right in the sight of God or how we
might tempt God. While reading God’s word in Matthew chapter 4, I felt the Holy
Spirit was saying to me that when we are going through the valley, desert, test, trails or
the wilderness during times of our lives and when the tempter comes to tempt us, there are
three things that we can speak as Jesus spoke to the tempter and he will flee from us and
that is in verses 4, 7, and 10 the words of Jesus.
Because it is the written word of God and the tempter will flee from us. March’s
Newsletter: On Easter weekend March
30-31, 2002 we traveled to Hindman, KY to visit Pastor Gene Cate and his wife Mariella. On Saturday night they had a Passover service at
the church, and we were very blessed. Pastor
Cate and his wife Mariella of New Beginnings Church in Hindman, KY have invited One With
Christ Ministry and us to be guest speakers on Memorial Day weekend May 25-26, 2002. We had a blessed weekend and received a warm and
loving welcome from Pastor Cate and Mariella and the church. Message
for March was on: “THE WORD OF GOD” “Word”
in Greek is { log’-os} John 1:1 1In the
beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word
was God. John 1:14 14And
the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the
glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. I John 5:7 7For there are three that
bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these
three are one. April’s
Newsletter: We
would like to ask each one of you to keep the ministry and us in pray as we have a very
busy month in May. We will be traveling to
Buckhorn, KY to be with Tootsie Gudal Ministries and ReJoySing on May 10,11, 2002. ReJoySing is a Christian group of four anointed
people from Gray and Somerset, Kentucky that travel with Pastor Tootsie’s Ministry to
lead Worship and Praise in the Love of God. We
are looking forward to traveling again with Pastor Tootsie and Sister Deb. As they go forth in God’s calling please keep
them in your prayers. We thank God for Pastor
Tootsie and her Ministry. Message for April
was on: “THE SPIRIT OF GOD IS
LOVE AND THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS LOVE; By Susan Haney ” Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the
Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, That itself is
amazing. I truly feel that in these last
days that God is pouring out His Spirit, The Spirit of Love. And we will see more of His Love coming forth in
ministry and His Church. When we were filled
with the Holy Spirit we were filled with the Spirit of Love. I was thinking about when I
received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior how I was receiving His Spirit / His Spirit of
Love. I can remember feeling such a love, and
I felt loved even if situations around me were grim.
And we know God is Love. He delights
to pour His love into us May’s
Newsletter: The month
of May has been a busy month for us, with a trip to Buckhorn, KY on May 10-11, 2002 with
Pastor Tootsie Gudal’s Ministry. We saw the power of God move in such a mighty way. Many healings and a miracle of a lady’s hip
and leg, she gave a testimony later that she had this condition since childbirth. Glory to God.
Message
for May was on: “HEARTS”
God wants to give each one a new Heart of Flesh.
I want to share a testimony with you about something that happen to me (Bill) on
Thursday night May 23, 2002. As a few of us
were praying in the prayer room at Word and Spirit Ministries before Bible School there
was a mighty presence of God in the room. I
had just prayed to God and ask God to check my heart and to give me a clean heart. As I was praying Pastor Tootsie Gudal came up
behind me and laid hands on my back and it felt as if fire went through me. Pastor Tootsie
then laid one hand on my heart and the other on my back and it was as if I felt a hand go
inside me and something was pulled out of me. As
I lay on the floor, warmth came over me and I knew something had happen to me. A peace as I have never new, a new love in my heart
as never before. God had done something very
special for me. As I sat up Pastor Tootsie
Gudal spoke these words that God gave to her:
The Lord has done surgery on you, He has removed the old heart. I saw Him reach in and surgically remove your
heart and replace it with a new heart. I saw
the blood on His hands. In response to your
crying out to God for change, He has given you a new heart. You will never be the same
from this night forward, for you have a new heart. The
Lord says that when you stand up that He will pour new wine and new oil in you. For your vessel will never run dry, there will be
overflowing with new wine and new oil. The
Lord would say to you, will you go for one, will you go for one person Bill. June’s
Newsletter: Here it
is the end of June already; time is going on as the Word of God continues to go forth in
the Name of Jesus. We are so grateful for all
that God is doing in our lives and His ministry. We
stand in awe to watch what God is doing in these last days.
We traveled to Hindman, KY on May 31, 2002 to be guest speakers at New Beginnings
Church. Susan ministered on Saturday June 1,
2002 at 6:00 P.M. at a women’s service. We
witnessed many healings and broken hearts being healed.
We give God all the Glory. Sunday morning June 2, 2002, Bill ministered at 11:00
A.M. We again seen God move in a powerful and
mighty way. People being set free, and
healings. We are in awe what God done that
weekend. We thank God for Pastor Gene and his
wife Mariella and the church family for inviting One With Christ Ministries and us. We were so blessed
and loved by God’s people. Hindman, KY
and New Beginnings Church and God’s people are very dear to our hearts. Thank you. June’s message
was on: “HEALING” As we prayed about what message to write about this month we fill that
God said tell them about my healing that is in My Word. It only
takes the Word of God to do the healing. God’s
promises for His people are to be in good health. I
myself have been healed from many sickness and diseases (to name a few, malaria,
agent orange in my lungs, hip displacement, back problems, arthritis, skin disease, kidney
problems) since my return home from the Vietnam War.
Susan was healed of a heart problem in October 2000; she also has been healed from
different sickness in her body as well. We
stand on the Word of God and His promises everyday and we believe God’s word and walk
in good health. This is for everyone,
not just a few of God’s people. It is
our prayer that each one of you will believe His Word and receive you’re healing from
God and walk in divine health everyday. July’s
Newsletter: The
month of July has been a very busy month for the ministry and us. We have been ministering to three couples that the
husbands are Vietnam Veterans. Just to be of
help to marriages and to see God begin to restore and heal the many wounds that the
Vietnam War has done in so many lives. We
give God all the glory for what He is doing. Keep
us in prayer as we continue to minister to the couples that God has sent our way. A PRAISE REPORT Thursday night we (Bill & Sue) went
to a 4th of July fireworks at downtown Sylva, NC. You see this is the first time for me (Bill) to
be able to watch the fireworks in 35 years, since my return home from the Vietnam War. God has healed me from the fear and noise of the
fireworks. THANK YOU GOD! THANK YOU
GOD! God is an awesome God. We give God
all the Glory for all that He has done. July’s
message was on:
“HE GAVE” A
question to all and this includes us also, what have we gave or given as a believer in
Christ. Are we going about our daily lives
just living in the world? We need to thank
about this, are we doing the will of God, are we witnessing to others around us, are
we making a difference for God’s Kingdom. Jesus paid the ultimate sacrifice for us
all when He died on the cross and then rose on the third day, to take away our sins, to
give us our salvations, to give us eternal life. Please
take the time to think about this, today make a difference in someone’s life, call
someone to encourage them, shake a friends hand, our smile at someone, it may be the only
smile that they have received that day. Maybe tell someone that you love him or her and
that God loves you. Pray about this today. What Have You Gave? August Newsletter: Our travels in the
month of August took us to several places. First,
we attended a Prophetic Conference in Hindman, KY, August 9th-11th. Pastor Tootsie Gudal ministered Sunday night,
August 11th. It was an awesome
time of refreshment of God’s word and prophecies spoken over many people attending
the services. We were blessed to be there. Second, Sue and I were invited to the 7th
Annual Brittian Ministries Conference in Hickory, NC.
We attended the August 16th service to hear Reverends Don & Julie
Robertson preach and minister. It was an
awesome outpouring of the Holy Spirit with an anointed message from God through His
servants. It was good to see Don & Julie,
our brother and sister in Christ, again. Third,
One With Christ Ministries was invited by Pastor J. L. Pate to preach and minister at
Abundant Life Pentecostal Church in Franklin, NC, on Sunday morning, August 18th. The message that God put on my heart to preach was
entitled “From a Stony Heart to a Heart of Flesh to the Love of Jesus.” God moved in an awesome way through Sue and I in
ministering to His people after the message. We
witnessed hearts being set free and healed. Some
people received a new heart of flesh and others healings in their bodies from Almighty
God. We give all the Glory to God! This issue is our 20th
newsletter since we started in 2001. The
number of homes that receive the newsletters each month has grown from 10 to over 50. At present, newsletters are sent to homes in the
following 13 states: FL, KY, WI, IN, AZ, WA,
OH, OK, NC, SC, MO, IL, and GA. The mailing
list continues to grow. We give the glory to
God for what He has done with the newsletter. In addition, the website is reaching people
all over the world. We receive a statistics
report each month which shows the number of visits to the One With Christ Ministries
website from Continents of North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Australia &
Oceania and Africa. People from all 50
states of America have visited the website. The
following is a list of other countries that have visited the website: Israel, Russia, China, Korea, Japan, United Arab
Emirates, Untied Kingdom, Netherlands, New Zealand, Denmark, Norway, Australia, Tonga,
Canada, & Puerto Rico. One With Christ
Ministries’ website averages 275 to 300 visits each month. God We Give You The Glory And We
Thank You God For The Website And The People That It Is Reaching And Blessing! August Message was
on: “PEACE” In writing this month’s message on PEACE, I find myself
asking God about the peace that He gives us. Sue
and I have been through many tests and valleys the last few months. We found that prayer, and seeking God’s face
and His guidance was the way to get peace back into our lives. No matter what you are going through, whether it
is physical or emotional illness, spiritual warfare, persecution, hurt, or loneliness,
just hold on and pray to God for his divine guidance.
God knows what we are all going through and He will never leave us nor forsake us
no matter the circumstances. As we
have been in prayer the last few weeks, God spoke to us and said to us, get back to where
my peace is, His peace in our lives. We had to go back
to where the peace of God was in our lives and when we got back to His peace then there
was such rest, love, joy and happiness in our lives again. It is so important to have the peace of God in your
life, without it there will be less love, joy and happiness. When you get back to the peace of God, you will
then find His presences and the abundance of His love with a joyful heart and a rest in
Him. It is our prayer for each of you to be
in the peace of God and to rest in Him each day. Psalms
91:1,2 1He that dwelleth
in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2I will say of the LORD, He is my
refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. “This is the PEACE of
God”, ask God for that PEACE. September’s
Newsletter: On September 14,
2002 we attended the wedding of our special friends, from Gray, KY, who we love and
appreciate so much. It was a beautiful
wedding with the love of Jesus. Congratulations and God’s blessings upon this
beautiful couple. Sue and I have really been seeking God’s
direction and guidance in prayer the last couple of months for the ministry and us. We feel God has said to us “COME AND REST
IN ME”. We are at rest with peace
and joy from God. We are seeking first the Kingdom of God and waiting upon the Lord for
His guidance to open the doors for the ministry and us to continue to go forth. We are both enjoying the time in God’s word
and receiving such revelation of knowledge from Him.
It has been an awesome time getting to know more about the God that we get to
serve. September’s
message was on: “SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD” The message
this month that God put on our hearts to share with you is the peace and joy of God. Since June God has been speaking to Sue and I to
get back to the peace in our lives. As we
prayed and was seeking God for guidance, the scripture that kept coming to our minds was
seek ye first the kingdom of God. As we
continued in prayer and reading God’s word in Matthew 6:33 it became alive in us. Everyone can have this; it is so much needed in
all of our lives; all you need to do is seek first the Kingdom of God, seek Him. There is nothing like peace in your life and I
believe we should all walk in the peace and joy of God daily. It is our prayer that as you
read God’s word daily and seek first the Kingdom of God, “seek God for all
things” you will find and have the peace and joy of God in your lives daily. October’s
Newsletter: We have
some very good news to share with you! On October 10, 2002 we received our determination
letter from the Internal Revenue Service about our tax-exempt status. IRS determined that
One With Christ Ministries, Inc. is exempt from federal income tax under section 501 (a)
of the Internal Revenue Code as an organization described in section 501(c)(3). We give
all the Glory to God. Praise you God and
Thank you! October’s
message was on: “THE VINE AND THE BRANCH” A few nights ago,
Sue and I were talking about a message that God spoke to me about the seed, vine and
branches. A vine and branch are connected to
a root system that started from a seed that was planted in good soil and watered and taken
care of in order to produce fruit. God’s
Word is the seed, the vine is Jesus Christ and we are the branches. Before we become born again and saved, God sends
someone to us and plants the seed “the Word of God” in us and it starts
to grow and gets rooted, then God will send others to water that seed with more of the
Word of God about His Son Jesus Christ “which is the Vine” and then as we
receive Jesus Christ into our hearts and become born again, then we are connected to Jesus
“the Vine” and abide in Him. As
we continue to grow and abide in Jesus, we believers “the Branches” start
to bear fruit. God sends us to others with the fruit “the Word of God”
and that fruit and seed is planted in others and God’s Kingdom continues to grow and
grow. God’s Word in John chapter 15:1 says that I am the true
vine, and my Father is the husbandman. The
word husbandman means “gardener, a tiller of the soil, a vinedresser”. If we are to be the branch then we must always be
connected to the vine to produce fruit. If
we are connected in the true vine of Jesus then we must allow the Father “the
Gardener” to prune the branches. We
as Jesus’ disciples must allow God to continue to prune us so we will continue to
grow and abide in Him and Him in us and bear much fruit.
Are you ready and willing to allow God to prune and cut
away the things from your life so you can bear much fruit and be Jesus’ disciple? TO SAVE THE LOST! November’s
Newsletter: We were so blessed
to spend time with our daughter on Thanksgiving Day.
We gave our Thanksgiving to God for all that He has done for the ministry, family
and friends and so many other great things that He blesses us with each day. It was our prayer that each one of you had a
blessed Thanksgiving Day with your loved ones. On November 23, 2002 we attended the
wedding of our special friends, from Sylva, NC, who we love very much. It was a beautiful wedding with the love of Jesus. Congratulations and God’s blessings upon this
beautiful couple. The Bible School of Elijah will meet on
December 6th and 7th. Pastor
Tootsie has combined November and December classes together due to Thanksgiving holiday. This will complete our one-year Bible School
Training. We
thank Pastor Tootsie and her staff for their obedience to God and coming each month to
teach the Bible School. The Bible School has
been a blessing to Sue and I, as well as the teaching and training. We give God all the glory for the Bible School. November’s
message was on: “FAITH” The message this
month on FAITH has been so real in our lives the past few weeks. God has spoken to both of us and has said; Will
You Trust Me and Have Faith In Me and Believe In Me to meet your every
need, and we both said “YES LORD WE WILL”.
God also spoke to us about receiving from Him. God’s Word in Matthew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall
receive. Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray,
believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. God’s word in Hebrews
11:6 says: But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh
to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them
that diligently seek him. Sue and
I have found that the more time we spend in God’s Word and prayer, the more our
Faith, Trust, and Believing in God and Receiving from God increases each day. Pray and spend more
time in God’s Word and God will increase in you Faith, Trust, Believing and Receiving
in Him. May this be a
special time of the season to reflect back on the goodness of God and the blessings that
He has gave to us and our families this year. Our
prayer for each one of you is that you have received Jesus Christ into your heart as your
personal Savior and made Him the Lord of your life. We
invite you if you are not born again to pray this pray with us as we agree with you: Heavenly Father I come to you a sinner and ask
you to forgive me of my sins, I believe that your Son Jesus Christ died on a cross and
then rose on the third day and that you have forgiven me of my sins and have washed may
sins away. I confess with my mouth that I am born again and from this day forward I will
serve you all the days of my life, thank you for saving me, In the Name of Jesus, Amen. We
rejoice with the angels in Heaven on your day of Salvation, Hallelujah! If you prayed
this prayer tell someone by confessing that you are born again and are saved. Buy a Bible
and read the word everyday and find you a good Spirit Filled church and be a part of
God’s Family. Amen We are asking each
of you to be in prayer for the ministry and us for the 2003 year. We feel God is leading
us in a new direction with Him and are excited to be in God’s will with peace, joy,
and rest in Him. Specific
prayer request for One With Christ Ministries and Us for the year 2003 For
God’s direction for the ministry and us God
bless each one of you and your families during this Holiday Season. Keep Jesus Christ first in your life everyday. We send our love and
prayers to you, and may God give you peace, joy, hope and rest in Him each and every day. 3 John II says: Beloved, I wish above all
things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. In
