One With Christ Ministries Newsletter
Volume No. 2 Issue No. 7 July 2002
Dear Family & Friends,
This is the day that the Lord hath
made, let us rejoice in it and be glad. Today give God the Praise for His Goodness, Mercy
and Grace. This is a new day in the Lord Jesus Christ, and He loves you and cares for you
very much.
The month of July has been a very
busy month for the ministry and us. We have been ministering to three couples that the
husbands are Vietnam Veterans. Just to be of help to marriages and to see God begin to
restore and heal the many wounds that the Vietnam War has done in so many lives. We give
God all the glory for what He is doing. Keep us in prayer as we continue to minister to
the couples that God has sent our way.
July 4th was a day at
Word and Spirit Ministries with a BBQ of hamburgers and hotdogs and all the fixins. There
were over 40 adults and children that attended. There was skate boarding, basketball,
water gun soaking, and the children played in a swimming pool. There was good fellowship
in the Lord and a beautiful sunny day. We all had a good time and eat a lot of good food.
A PRAISE REPORT
Thursday night we (Bill & Sue) went to a 4thof July fireworks in downtown
Sylva, NC. You see this is the first time for me (Bill) to be able to watch the
fireworks in 35 years, since my return home from the Vietnam War. God has healed
me from the fear and noise of the fireworks. THANK YOU GOD! THANK YOU GOD!
God is an awesome God. We give God all the Glory for all that He has done.
During the week of July 23, 2002 we
spent some time with a couple from Jacksonville, Florida that we meet at the Eagles
Conference in Franklin, NC in June 2002. The couple has been in the healing and
deliverance ministry for 27 years. They were here to do some ministering during the week
so we were invited to attend a couple of their teachings. We feel that God has called us
into the same ministry and it was good to set under their teaching and witnessing healings
in this area. We thank God for them and their ministry and taking the time to talk and
minister to us.
The Bible School was on July 26-27,
2002. Randy and Joy Biggers from Lakeland, Florida taught on Interpretation of Dreams and
Visions and Prophecy. A lot of information to receive and on hands participation as well.
What a time it was with the Lord and an awesome anointing and teaching. This is our
seventh month already. We thank God for Pastor Tootsie Gudal and her staff for coming each
month to do the School of Elijah. Please continue in prayer for the Bible School and
Pastor Tootsie and her ministry staff. We have been very blessed and have enjoyed the
teaching and training.
MESSAGE THIS
MONTH HE GAVE
A question to all and this includes
us also, what have we gave or given as a believer in Christ. Are we going about our daily
lives just living in the world? We need to think about this, are we
doing the will of God, are we witnessing to others around us, are we making a difference
for Gods Kingdom.
Jesus paid the ultimate sacrifice
for us all when He died on the cross and then rose on the third day, to take away our
sins, to give us our salvations, to give us eternal life. Please take the time to think
about this, today make a difference in someones life, call someone to encourage
them, shake a friends hand, our smile at someone, it may be the only smile that they have
received that day. Maybe tell someone that you love him or her and that God loves you.
Pray about this today. What Have You Given?
Jesus Christ Gave All
1. He gave His head to the
crown of thorns.
2. He gave His back to the
cruel lash.
3. He gave His checks to
those who plucked out the hairs
4. He gave His face to the
rude, human spittle.
5. He gave His shoulder to
be dropped with the robe of mockery.
6. He gave His clothes to
His murders.
7. He gave His mother to the
apostle John.
8. He gave His hands and
feet to be transfixed with nails to the cross.
9. He gave His blood to the
earth for the remission of sins.
10. He gave His body for the
life of the world.
11. He gave His spirit to
God.
12. He gave His all that
souls might be saved.
Isaiah 53:3-9 3He
is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid
as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4Surely
he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten
of God, and afflicted. 5But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was
bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his
stripes we are healed. 6All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned
every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7He
was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb
to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
8He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his
generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my
people was he stricken. 9And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the
rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
Isaiah 50:6 6I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to
them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.
Matthew 27:27-32 27Then the soldiers of the governor took
Jesus into the common hall, and gathered unto him the whole band of soldiers. 28And
they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe. 29And when they had platted a
crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed
the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
30And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head. 31And
after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment
on him, and led him away to crucify him. 32 And as they came out, they found a
man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross.
Mark 15:16- 20 16And
the soldiers led him away into the hall, called Praetorium; and they call together the
whole band. 17And they clothed him with purple, and platted a crown of thorns,
and put it about his head, 18And began to salute him, Hail, King of the Jews! 19And
they smote him on the head with a reed, and did spit upon him, and bowing their knees
worshipped him. 20And when they had mocked him, they took off the purple from
him, and put his own clothes on him, and led him out to crucify him.
John 3:15-17 15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the
world through him might be saved.
The above scriptures in the Bible
refer to what Jesus gave for us. Take the time to read and study the four gospels of
Matthew, Mark, Luke and John about the crucifixion and the resurrection of our Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ. It is our prayer that this message has be a blessing to you. May God
give you the revelation knowledge of Him?
A special thank you to those that
gave financially to the ministry in the month of July, we are so thankful to God for you.
Because of your faithful support and prayers, you are helping reach the lost and hurting
people, to send the ministry newsletter each month to over 50 homes with the Word of God,
and fulfilling the calling of God on our lives as the ministry and us continue to go forth
in the Name of Jesus. You are a great blessing to God and His people.
We need your love and prayers as we
continue seeking God in the next step that He has for the ministry and us. We love you and
know that God loves you very much. Until next month, continue to Praise & Worship the
Lord and to seek Him with all your heart, soul and mind.
In Our Heavenly Fathers Love,
