Dear Family & Friends,

HE HAS RISEN, HE HAS RISEN, JESUS IS ALIVE, OUR LORD AND SAVIOR, HE IS ALIVE, HALLELUJAH, HALLELUJAH, HALLELUJAH. On Easter Sunday as we were in church and giving our thanks to God for His Son Jesus Christ, let us remember this everyday that He is Alive and is still the same yesterday, today and forever. Amen

It has been a very busy month of March. We are enjoying seeing the Church that God has established in Franklin, NC continuing to grow each week. Just to be a part of what God is doing is very exciting to us. God’s vision for Word & Spirit Ministries and Pastor’s Sam & Sharon Bradham is to be a church without walls and to go out into the communities of Macon County and saved the lost. Reach out to the hurting and hungry and feed and cloth them and give them the love of Jesus.

March 22-23, 2002 we had our third Bible School class, which was so anointed and awesome, and we were so blessed. We are learning so much, and do enjoy the teaching very much. This month’s teaching was on Faith. We are so thankful to Pastor Tootsie Gudal and her staff for coming to Franklin, NC each month to teach us about God’s word. Continue to keep the School of Elijah Bible School and Pastor Tootsie and her staff in your prayers.

We were also blessed on Saturday night March 23 and Sunday morning March 24 to have with us at Word & Spirit Ministries a Christian group named REJOYSING from Corbin, KY. God has truly gifted and anointed them with a true love of Worship and Praise. We love and appreciate them very much and the wonderful love that they have for God. On Easter weekend March 30-31, 2002 we traveled to Hindman, KY to visit Pastor Gene Cate and his wife Mariella. On Saturday night they had a Passover service at the church, and we were very blessed. Pastor Cate and his wife Mariella of New Beginnings Church in Hindman, KY have invited One With Christ Ministry and us to be guest speakers on Memorial Day weekend May 25-26, 2002. We had a blessed weekend and received a warm and loving welcome from Pastor Cate and Mariella and the church.

We would like for all that receive the newsletter to pray for One With Christ Ministries and us. We need your prayers specifically for the following:

1. God to continue to open doors for speaking engagements and conferences for the ministry and us.
2. Memorial Day Service in Hindman, KY May 25-26, 2002. “Please Pray For This Daily”
3. For strength, wisdom, humility, protection and favor with God and man in all that God calls the ministry and us to do.
4. Covenant Partners to help support the ministry.

MESSAGE THIS MONTH IS THE WORD OF GOD

“Word” in Greek is (logos) { log’-os}

John 1:1 ¹In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:14 ¹⁴And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

I John 5:7 ⁷For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

The Word Of God Is:

It is Life
1 John 1:1 ¹That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

It is a Lamp and Light
Psalms 119:105 ¹⁰⁵Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

It is Fire and like a Hammer
Jeremiah 23:29 ²⁹Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

It is a Sword of the Spirit
Ephesians 6:17 ¹⁷And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

It is Bread and Life
John 6:35 ³⁵And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
Matthew 4:4 ; Luke 4:4 4But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

It is Milk
I Peter 2:2 ²As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

It is Seed
Luke 8:11 ¹¹Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

It is Healing
Psalms 107:20 ²⁰He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

It is a Mirror
James 1:22,23 ²²But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. ²³For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a (glass) “glass in Greek means Mirror”

It is Power
Luke 4:32 ³²And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.

It is a Good
Hebrews 6:5 ⁵And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come.

It is a Two edged Sword
Hebrews 4:12¹²For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

I Peter 1:25 ²⁵But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

Romans 10:17 ¹⁷So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

John 8:31 ³¹Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

“I heard a Preacher some time back on the radio say this concerning the bible “the very Word of God”

Five things we should do with the Bible.

1) Open It “Open the Bible up and read it daily”

2)Question It “As you are reading God’s word ask the Holy Spirit to help you and teach you the revelation of God’s word”.

3) Plan It “Take the time to plan on reading the Word of God every day”.

4) Pray It “Pray before and after reading God’s word.

5) Share It “Take the time to Share God’s word with other people”.

John 4:14 ¹⁴But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

John 6:35 ³⁵And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Anyone who is hunger and thirsty, eat the bread of life and drink of the living water. If you get the word of God in you it will feed you when you are hungry and when you are thirsty it will give you drink. This is God’s Word. Amen.
