Dear Family & Friends,

Psalm 92: 1,2 says; (1) It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: (2) To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night.  “We give you the thanks God for all that you have done for us”.

On September 14, 2002 we attended the wedding of our special friends, from Gray, KY, who we love and appreciate so much.  It was a beautiful wedding with the love of Jesus.   Congratulations and God’s blessings upon this beautiful couple.

The Bible School of Elijah met on September 27th and 28th which we’ve been attending all year.  The teaching this month was on the continuation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.  We enjoyed and were blessed by the awesome and anointed teaching.  We thank Pastor Tootsie and her staff for coming each month to teach the Bible School.  We ask you to pray for Pastor Tootsie and her staff and the Bible School each month.

Sue and I have really been seeking God’s direction and guidance in prayer the last couple of months for the ministry and us.  We feel God has said to us “COME AND REST IN ME”.  We are at rest with peace and joy from God. We are seeking first the Kingdom of God and waiting upon the Lord for His guidance to open the doors for the ministry and us to continue to go forth.  We are both enjoying the time in God’s word and receiving such revelation of knowledge from Him.  It has been an awesome time getting to know more about the God that we get to serve.

In the month of September, we received letters and phone calls of appreciation from a few people who receive the monthly newsletter.  They expressed how much the newsletters have blessed them and encouraged Sue and I to continue God’s work of reaching people with the gospel of Jesus Christ.  It is our hope to see the lost saved, the wounded and brokenhearted set free, and the sick to be healed.  In writing this month’s newsletter we are asking you to pray and consider supporting One With Christ Ministries monthly.  We need your financial support to help the Kingdom of God grow.  Our newsletter publishing supplies and expenses are increasing monthly as the newsletter mailing list continues to grow.  Your financial support, whatever the amount, will help spread the message of hope and the word of God to many people.

The One With Christ Ministries website has been updated with new pages and pictures.  We are excited about the changes and know that God is using the Internet to reach multitudes of people around the world.  The September website analysis report showed that there were 483 visits to the website from places such as United States, Canada, Cuba, China, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, and Morocco.  Please visit www.onewithchristministries.org to see the changes we’ve made to the website.  Also sign our guest book as you visit.  We give all the Glory to God Almighty!

Sue and I want to share some very exciting news with you that we received from our son and daughter-in-law in September. We are going to be grandparents again!  We are so excited and just keep praising and thanking God for the soon to be new addition to our family.  Please keep Wayne, Lori, Peter and the baby in your prayers each day.

MESSAGE THIS MONTH IS ENTITLED
“SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD”

The message this month that God put on our hearts to share with you is the peace and joy of God.  Since June God has been speaking to Sue and I to get back to the peace in our lives.  As we prayed and was seeking God for guidance, the scripture that kept coming to our minds was seek ye first the kingdom of God.  As we continued in prayer and reading God’s word in Matthew 6:33 it became alive in us.

Everyone can have this; it is so much needed in all of our lives; all you need to do is seek first the Kingdom of God, seek Him.  There is nothing like peace in your life and I believe we should all walk in the peace and joy of God daily. It is our prayer that as you read God’s word daily and seek first the Kingdom of God, “seek God for all things” you will find and have the peace and joy of God in your lives daily.

Matthew 6:33 says: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

The word “but” in the above verse is the present imperative, which is a command to do something in the future, and involves continuous or repeated action.

First we must seek His Kingdom and continue to focus and seek and seek and not let a negative thought enter in and stop us from seeking first His kingdom.

Second we need His righteousness, the word righteousness in Greek means; equity of character or act; specially (character) justification; righteousness.

Third “all these things will be added unto you”, and what are these things that Jesus is speaking about, the verses 25 thru 32 below will tell you these things that will be added unto you.

Matthew 6:25-34   25Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 28And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30Wherefore, if God so  clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

31Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Romans 14:17-19  17For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. 18For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men. 19Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

Thank you for your love and prayers for the ministry and us.  Know that we keep you in our prayers and we love you all.  We are thankful to those that support the ministry monthly and know that you are a blessing to God and His people as we together with God, continue to go and send forth the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ.  We ask each of you as you pray each day to be a covering over the ministry and us.  Be Blessed with the Peace, Love and Joy of God.

In Our Heavenly Fathers Love,
Bill and Sue
