One With Christ Ministries Newsletter

Volume 3     Issue 1    January 2003

Dear Family and Friends,

Psalm 105:1  1Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.  We bless you Almighty God.

Greetings and Blessings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.  The month of January for Sue and I has been a time in prayer and fasting and seeking God for direction for One With Christ Ministries and us.  We have heard the Lord say these words to us; “Abide, rest and wait upon me”.  God is showing us other things as well which we will be sharing with you as time goes on.

As you can see, we have made some changes to the ministry newsletter.  We felt that after two years it was time for a change.  One of the changes we would like to point out is that the left column of page 1 contains the articles found in the current newsletter issue.  Also, beginning with this issue, Sue will be writing articles in the newsletter.  I know you will enjoy them as she shares them from her heart to you.  We will continue to add new sections to the newsletter as the ministry grows.  We hope you like the changes and pray that they will be a blessing to all of you.

We are excited about 2003 and we have great hope and expectation of what God is going to do this year in the ministry and us and His people.  I (Bill) would like to share with you what I felt the Spirit of God spoke to me about the year 2003.

I received this Word from God on January 8, 2003

The Spirit of the living God spoke to me and said, the year 2003 would be a year of Hope, Manifestations and Visitations in Him. The Holy Spirit spoke to me that this 2003 will be a year of hope to His people. Those that have no hope will find it in Him, not in the world. I saw an outpouring of hope upon all His children. I hear these words, “hope for the hopeless”. I believe the Spirit of God will be manifested upon God’s people. The Lord said, “My manifestations upon my people will be seen with the eyes of my people. I the Lord am bringing to my church a real manifestation of my presence, signs, wonders and miracles. These signs I am sending to my church will bring many unbelievers into my church and the lost into my kingdom. Believers and unbelievers will see my power flow through my people. My people, says the Spirit of God, will receive visitations from me, see angels and other signs from me, and start seeing more into the spiritual realm. My visitations upon my people will be a sign unto those who are called by my name.  This I will send to my people says the Lord, Hope, Manifestations and Visitations, because many of my people have hearkened unto my voice and humbled themselves and prayed, and repented and turned from their wicked ways. Yes I the Lord your God have heard my people’s cries, and “I will do an outpouring of Hope, Manifestation and Visitation to those that will believe and receive these words of mine”. I have given to you what I believe that God spoke to me; it is up to you to pray and receive this if you believe this was a Word from God.

The Message This Month Is Entitled “FORGIVING”

As Sue and I have been in prayer and asking God what message to give this month, we felt that God said “FORGIVING”.  For those people that have said hurting words, offended us, rejected us or hurt us in anyway, God’s Word says in Mark 11:25; 25And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.  When someone done me wrong, my prayer to God would be, I forgive them God and I ask you to forgive them, but God gave me a revelation of His word after reading Mark 11:25 and the parable that Jesus gave in Matthew 18:21-35.  We must also ask our Heavenly Father to forgive us for any ought or trespasses against anyone that is in our hearts.  As for myself I have gone before the Father and have asked Him to forgive me of any ought or trespasses against anyone. I know now that my Heavenly Father has forgiven me and I have forgiven those that I have had ought or trespass against.  I also ask my Heavenly Father to forgive those that may have any ought or trespass against me.  For if we do not forgive then the next verse in Mark 11:26 says; 26But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses. Our prayer is that God will reveal this to you and you will feel that UN forgiveness come out of your heart and have the peace of God that will pass all understanding. The burden of unforgiveness can and will cause us many troubles and even sickness in our body.  Just give it to God and He will take care of it for you. If you ask God, He will show you how to forgive anyone and you will be set free from this burden.

God’s Word tells us about forgiving others in the following verses

Matthew 6:9-15   9After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11Give us this day our daily bread. 12And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. 14For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Matthew 18:21-35   21Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? 22Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. 23Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants. 24And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.  25But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made. 26The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.  27Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt. 28But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest.  29And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. 30And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt. 31So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done. 32Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me: 33Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?34And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him. 35So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

Luke 17:1-4   1Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! 2It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. 3Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. 4And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.

Prayer of Forgiveness

I believe from my heart that this is the will of God for each one of us to forgive and ask our Father to forgive us and then we will be able to forgive all those that have trespassed against us, for when we do this we will have a life of peace, joy and happiness in the Lord Jesus Christ. If you pray the following prayer, go before Jesus and ask Him to show you how to forgive those who have trespassed against you. A prayer of forgiveness-Heavenly Father I come before you and ask that you forgive me of any ought or trespass against anyone. I forgive them (You might say the name) Father that has trespassed against me and I also ask you Father to forgive them. I ask you to take this burden from me in the Name of Jesus. Fill my heart Father with your love so that it will be overflowing from me to all people, in the Name of Jesus.

From Sue’s Desk

Overcoming those obstacles: A few months back, Sadie, our 4-year-old beagle, became paralyzed in her hind legs.  That moment of hearing in disbelief was like part of us was stolen out of our hearts in an instant.  How quickly our lives can be altered!  But after the shock of hearing this, I remember how quickly we put our eyes back on the Almighty God that we choose to serve. I started hearing the Words of His promises.  We quickly looked at that obstacle and sought how God wanted to use it for His glory.  We were able to give comfort to the very doctor who examined Sadie.  She said while we were praying for Sadie to put in a special prayer for her best friend who at that very hour was having female surgery that was diagnosed as cancer related.  I took her in my arms and let God’s love surround her. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”  Proverbs 3:5 & 6 (NKJV)  (Sadie is improving every day).  IN HIS LOVE, Sue

From Bill’s Studies

Each month I will share with you one of the 12 names of God that I have read or studied in the Bible. The name of God will be listed along with its meaning and a scripture from the Bible.  Month of January: Elohim:  God   (Genesis 1:1  In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth).

Our Hearts Desire Of One With Christ Ministries Newsletter

It is our hearts desire that One With Christ Ministries Newsletters will be a blessing to you and full of encouragement and hope so that you will have a deeper walk with God, come to know Him as He knows you, and to love God as He loves you. God wants His people to love Him and have a personal relationship with Him and to walk in a deeper walk with Him the Lord your God. We are finding out for ourselves that the more we draw nigh to God the more He draws nigh to us.

God wants us to fellowship with Him, to be in His likeness and image, to do all things with Him, to hear His voice, to see what He sees, to say what he says, to walk where He walks and to do His will as His Son Jesus Christ did to reveal His Father.  We are called to do His will, to reveal God to everyone that we meet, to have a compassionate heart and show the love of Jesus just as He did while on this earth.  May we go forth and give the love of Jesus to all that we meet each day.

Let us not miss an opportunity to be a witness for God to tell the lost, hurting, and wounded people of this world that Jesus loves them and has forgiven them of their sins.  May God fill your hearts with an overflowing of His peace and love.  We thank you for your continual prayers and support for the ministry that God has entrusted us with.  We love you in the Lord Jesus. God Bless You.  Your gifts to the ministry are appreciated and tax-deductible.

 In Our Heavenly Father’s Love,

 Bill & Sue
