FAITH REMOVES RESPECT OF PERSON

This is the Third message of a series on the topic of “FAITH” from the book of James. This month’s message is “Faith Removes Respect of Person”. This is the day, the time and the hour to hear and receive the very Word of God and believe it and stand upon the Word of God.

As you read the following inspired scriptures written by Paul the Apostle in the Book of James referring to Faith Removes Respect of Person; “WILL WE OPEN OUR EARS TO HEAR WHAT SAYS THE WORD OF GOD?”  “OR WILL WE CHOSE TO KEEP OUR EARS AND HEART CLOSED TO GOD” IT’S YOUR CHOICE.

Faith Removes Respect of Person

Faith Harbors no Prejudice: James 2:1-13

“For James, faith and favoritism cannot be at the same time or the same place. Romans 2:11  For there is no respect of persons with God.

Scripture:

James 2:1  My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with b respect of persons.

Leviticus 19:15  Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

Commit Verse 1:1: Romans 2:11  For there is no respect of persons with God.

 

James 2:2  For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment;

James 2:3  And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay(fine) clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool:

James 2:4  Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?

James 2:5  Hearken, my beloved brethren, a Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?

James 2:6  But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?

James 2:7  Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are acalled?

1Peter 4:18  And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

1Peter 4:19  Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

 

James 2:8  If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, aThou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:

Leviticus 19:18  Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

 

James 2:9  But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as a transgressors.

Deuteronomy 1:17  Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgment is God's: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it.

 

James 2:10  For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet aoffend in one point, he is bguilty of all.

Galatians 3:10  For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

Galatians 3:11  But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

James 2:11  For he that said, aDo not commit adultery, said also,bDo not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor  of the law.

James 2:12  So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged aby the law of liberty.

James 1:25  But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

James 1:26  If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

James 1:27  Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

 

James 2:13  For ahe shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed bno cmercy; and d mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

Job 22:6  For thou hast taken a pledge from thy brother for nought, and stripped the naked of their clothing.

 Micah 7:18  Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.

Romans 12:8  Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

 

Conclusion

Our choices and decisions on receiving God's Word are very important to each one of us.  We must learn to put our Faith and Trust in God and His Word the Holy Bible. Will you take this day, time and this very hour to make your choice and or decision? Will you receive God and His Word “AND BE BORN AGAIN INTO HIS KINGDOM”? Below is a prayer to receive Jesus Christ and start a relationship of eternal life with Him.

 Prayer to Receive Jesus as Lord and Savior:

Heavenly Father,
I come to you in the Name of Jesus, I repent of my sins and I ask you to forgive me of my sins. I believe and confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God and believe He died on the cross and rose on the third day. I ask you to come into my heart. I ask you now to wash me and cleanse me. I give you my spirit, soul and body.  I will with the help of your Holy Spirit follow you all the days of my life. I thank you for writing my name in the Lambs Book of life.
